Boldmere beat a lacklustre Town side on a damp evening rather comfortably. A crowd of 257 braved the rain to see Boldmere in the white strip take the lead on 28 minutes , a ball from outside the box was nodded in and despite Jose Veiga’s best efforts couldn’t keep it out.
That lead lasted just twondering minutes, as Hednesford sent in a cross from the right and Glover nodded in. There are no obvious changes here since my last visit last season, still looking quality surface.
In the second half, Boldmere shocked their higher placed opponents placing a low shot before they went 3-1 up after saving a free kick the keeper dived to parry the ball but the loose ball was stuck back in. Rodgers got a goal back at then after the ball was rolled across the box from the left he shot low and his shot bounced off the keeper.
