Yesterday morning, I attended this game in the annual Sutton Cup. It was a drizzly damp morning and that was reflected in the attendance as not many wanted to brave the rain. This game played at Church Rd rarely got the juices flowing but Paget shaded it.
Paget in the amber took the lead after 41 minutes with a low shot from 20 yards. In the second half, Paget were awarded a free kick 30 yards out, the ball was pumped into the box and was met by a bullet header for 2-0.
Chelmsley scored with a placed effort moments later before Paget extended their lead squeezing the ball into the bottom right corner. It was game over when Paget side footed the keeper to bury a tap in from 3 yards but Chelmsley had time to hit the Base of the post and then managed a goal cutting in from the left, shooting across the keeper into the bottom.
