There was late drama as Sutton equalised with the last kick of the game to take a share of the spoils after being second best for most of the game. This game at Coles Lane was in the Midland U21 west between two under achieveing sides.
The minor change I noticed was that there are now metal stairs at the side of the stand instead of dangerous inside steps. Worcester in the red took the lead on 17 minutes , shooting the ball from the right across the keeper from 16 yards. On 24 minutes, it was 2-0 cutting from the left and shooting across the keeper again. Two minutes later Sutton were back in it going on a fine run, shaking off 3 challenges before dinking the ball over the keeper.
After the half time , H.O.W went 3-1, skilling the keeper and tapping in. After that it was all downhill for them, Sutton poked the ball in from 7 yards. The late drama came from a free kick in dying seconds, it was a desperately poor free kick that bobbled off the wall, a Sutton player scuffed a shot off the post.
