League leaders Wood took apart a hapless Copsewood side tonight. I had toyed with the idea of trying to get to Gresley again but a wave of can’t be arsed came over me again do headed to Oak Park again. A heavy mist had decended and the ground was sodden, although the pitch looked wet it was ok although all the sidelines and paths were heavily waterlogged.
This was 1st v 12th, but this was a extremely one sided game with Copsewood in the green, managing just one shot the whole game, the wood took the lead on 6 minutes when Sullivan fired home from the spot.
On 11 minutes, it was 2-0 a ball into the box was nodded over the keeper. The wood made it 3-0 on 17 minutes, a ball from the right, the player turned and fired in. They converted again in the second half from the penalty spot again by Sullivan.
Lundy got the fifth, breaking the offside trap before steering it beyond Jack Martor . The final goal came from a corner, the ball fell kindly in the 6 yard box and was stuffed in. They scored 6 but could have been 26. Looks like the Wood are going up.
